Krueger's Announce Departure

Brian and Lynette Krueger are stepping down as Liberty Common School’s volleyball coaches, Athletic Director Frank Russel announced on Thursday.

Coach Brian Krueger led the team to three state tournament appearances and developed several collegiate players. In his three years at the helm, coach Krueger never had a losing season and won Patriot League Coach-of-the-Year for the 2023–2024 season. Coach Lynette Krueger worked tirelessly on the school’s Academic-Support Team to assist students while also developing junior-varsity players. Before being asked to lead the high-school team, they both spent years coaching Liberty Common volleyball at all levels. We are thankful for the Krueger family’s years of mentorship.

“The Krueger’s built a program here at Liberty Common, I am incredibly thankful for their hard work over the years,” Russel said. “Their drive to make young women of character through volleyball was evident in every interaction with their team.”

Liberty Common volleyball will forever be grateful for the Krueger’s years of dedication and raising the program to new heights.

The school will begin the search for a replacement that can carry on the culture and tradition the Krueger’s established.
