In just its third season, the Liberty Common wrestling team continues to build momentum, capping off a solid campaign with strong performances at the Patriot League Tournament.
Daniel Verdeaime led the team in multiple categories, earning runner-up honors at the league tournament. Brooks Stern also made his mark, securing 6th in a highly competitive field. On the girls' side, Julianna Darmafall and Anagha Mathur both placed, showcasing the program’s growing depth.
The Eagles posted a 2–5 dual record, marking its first season with multiple dual wins—a significant milestone in the team’s development. Now, Liberty Common turns its focus to the regional tournament this weekend, with hopes of qualifying wrestlers for state competition.
